On taking early retirement in 1987, Royston decided to pursue his love of pictures by starting Monopteros Fine Art. Subsequently he has held over 30 exhibitions in Richmond, the Chalfonts, Berkhamsted and Chesham showcasing various artists work of largely 19th & 20th century origin, selling close to 900 paintings.
